Staying in TouchAll staterooms have telephones that allow ship-to-shore direct dialing. The Internet Corner offers terminals which may be used for web browsing and email access, as well as WIFI access. Fees apply to internet and ship to shore calling (approximately $3.50/min for telephone and $21.00/hour for internet). The ship is also equipped with GSM connectivity for mobile phones at extra charge.X
Currency Exchange and Onboard PurchasesAll onboard currency will be in Canadian dollars. All purchases will be charged to the client's bill in Canadian dollars. Accounts may be paid in cash (CAD and USD accepted) or by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express). Cuba Cruise employs a convenient cashless system (Casino excepted) that uses personal magnetic swipe cards. These purchases will be added to your stateroom account and an itemized statement will be delivered prior to disembarkation. A Credit Card is required for payment to be registered.X
DiningSelected food will be imported freshly from Canada with a Canadian and Continental menu featuring local and culturally important Cuban dishes. The Cristal offers 3 dining areas for your enjoyment. Shore ExcursionsA wide range of excursions have been designed specifically for Cuba Cruise by our Cuban and Jamaican partners. Medical CentreMedical Services are provided onboard the Cristal as a convenience to passengers. There is a charge for services and/or medications provided onboard. The Cristal is equipped with a modern infirmary - physician and nursing staff. Travel Medical insurance is required at time of booking. All travelers require comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses before entering Cuba. All passengers will be required to present proof of valid medical insurance before boarding the ship. For further details; contact your travel agent or the Cuban Consulate Website for appropriate coverage. Pregnant Women/Infants Pregnant women are only allowed to sail if pregnant for 27 weeks or less at time of disembarkation. Infants under the age of 1 year old at time of disembarkation are not allowed to sail.X
AccommodationsAll rooms feature nightly turn-down, shower, WC, wash basin, telephone, hairdryer & TV. 110/220-volt outlets and standard North American plug fittings (2 flat prong).X

To ensure we meet your needs, please provide, in detail any disability, medical or mental condition, which may require or make advisable special accommodations, or the use of specialized equipment or medical treatment while onboard. We require this information no less than 21 days prior to departure to make the necessary arrangements. Guests in wheelchairs are advised to travel with someone who is able to offer support onboard and ashore. Some ports require a tender to go ashore and may preclude guests using wheelchairs from leaving the vessel. The final decision rests with the ships Master and is binding. Guests are strongly encouraged to bring along their own wheelchair for safety and comfort reasons. Smoking PolicySmoking is allowed only in designated areas. All other smoking indoors is prohibited. While outdoors, passengers can smoke in designated areas only. Smoking in Cuba is generally allowed in all outdoor venues and even most restaurants. Please exercise respectfor your fellow visitors.X
ClothingGuests should dress as they would for any other stylish land-based resort. Smart Casual is the order of the day with light pants, sportswear, shorts and fashionable workout gear are all acceptable attire. While in common areas inside, hallways, restaurants and bars, guests are required to have shoes or sandals and shirts or appropriate covering for their upper bodies. Of course when you are on-deck, by the pool, sun deck or Riviera bar, swim-suits are the norm. During the Captains dinner it is suggested that guests dress appropriately - collared shirts and long pants are required. While ashore, you may visit religious or other important cultural sites. Clothing requirements vary so be prepared to cover up if necessary. Cuba Cruise travels to all parts of Cuba but one thing remains - the weather is usually warm and sunny. Bring a hat, sunglasses, light shirt, sandals and plenty of sunscreen. Laundry / Valet Services Onboard laundry and dry cleaning service is available at extra charge.X
